A practical approach to the most important casting techniques, like lost wax, sand cast (delftclay), and stone die (steatit) casting. Hubert Heldner will introduce you to these ancient techniques and the safe handling of all tools. The class takes 2 days from 9 am to 6 pm. No preexisting knowledge is necessary and all equipment is at your disposal. Included in the price of CHF 510.- are the samples you cast in sterling silver. To prepare yourself for this class you can learn to sculpt wax models in the wax modeling class.
