How to measure a ring size accurately
when no professional tools are at hand.

Select a ring which fits you nicely.

Wrap a paper strip inside the ring and make a mark.

Take the paper out and measure the length between paperbord and mark.
In this sample the ringsize is 48.5mm.
This corresponds to the inside circumference of your ring.
Any jeweller should now be able to create a ring which fits your finger precisely.

Ring stick and ring set
Due to the important in-precision of plastic ring stick or ring sets, their use is not recommended. To often a newly manufactured ring needs to be adapted again to the correct ring size. This compares to a repair or remodelling job with additional costs.
