A practical approach to the most important casting techniques, like lost wax, sand cast (delftclay), stone die (steatit) and ossa sepia (cuttle fish) casting. Hubert Heldner will introduce you to these ancient techniques and the safe handling of all tools. The class takes 2 days from 9 am to 6 pm. No preexisting knowledge is necessary and all equipment is at your disposal. Included in the price of CHF 490.- is the sterling silver. To prepare yourself for this class you can learn to sculpt wax models in the wax modeling class.
